Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Butler Bulldogs (Augusta, GA) and the host Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA), saw Butler's basketball squad hold off Westside by a tally of 58-51.
With the victory, Butler improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Thomson (Thomson, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a AA Region 4A challenge on Friday, February 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 14-5.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Laney Wildcats (Augusta, GA) in a AA Region 4B challenge, on Friday, February 10. Westside will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 67-57 league win over Washington County (Sandersville, GA).
