The Cabrini Monarchs basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES to 45 in the Monarchs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Monarchs now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Our Lady of the Lakes for a Catholic Intersectional I contest on Friday, February 10. Cabrini will battle a Lakers team coming off a 55-18 non-league win over Universal Academy (Detroit, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 8-4.

The WOLVES (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI). The Jaguars enter the Catholic Intersectional II contest with a 4-9 record.
