Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA) and the host Canton Warriors (Canton, PA), saw Sayre's basketball squad hold off Canton by a count of 47-45.

With the victory, Sayre upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA) to play the Indians in a Northern Tier challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Cowanesque Valley lost 48-29 in their recent league challenge against Canton (Canton, PA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Montgomery Red Raiders (Montgomery, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Canton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record.
