The Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA) basketball crushed the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), 81-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cavaliers (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights go into the Battlefield test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Spotsylvania was trounced by King George (King George, VA), 69-50, in a league test.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Chancellor for a Battlefield test on Friday, February 10. James Monroe will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 57-48 league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 7-12.
