Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX), 73-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Chaparral upgrades its record to 22-12 on the season. The Bobcats host Belton (Belton, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, February 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 24-8. Belton won 67-34 in their recent league bout against Killeen (Killeen, TX)

Next up, the Broncos play the Shoemaker Wolves (Killeen, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, February 10. Lake Belton will attempt to upgrade on its 16-15 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 12-20 record after their 76-61 league win over Waco (Waco, TX).
