Charleston Collegiate Sundevils (John's Island, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Holly Hill Academy Raiders (Holly Hill, SC), 59-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Charleston Collegiate upgrades its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to Jefferson Davis Academy (Blackville, SC) to play the Raiders in a SCISA A Region I bout on Friday, February 10. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 14-9. Jefferson Davis Academy won 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Trinity Classical Christian (Beaufort, SC)

Next up, the Raiders play the Clarendon Hall Saints (Summerton, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Holly Hill Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 2-18 record after their 81-32 league loss to Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC).
