Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN), 74-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Orono upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Hermantown (Hermantown, MN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Hermantown won 73-35 in their recent non-league bout against Proctor (Proctor, MN)

Next up, the Hawks play the Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Chaska will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 83-48 non-league win over Como Park (St. Paul, MN).
