The Johnston City Indians basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Christopher Bearcats to 43 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waltonville for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Johnston City will battle a Spartans team coming off a 49-45 league loss to Sesser-Valier (Sesser, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 11-15.

The Bearcats (10-16) will now prepare for their contest against Vienna (Vienna, IL). The Eagles come into the Black Diamond - West contest with a 24-3 record. In their last contest, Vienna edged Johnston City (Johnston City, IL), 73-46, in a league contest.
