In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN) basketball squad edged the host Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN), by a margin of 41-37.
The Bulldogs (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Macon County (Lafayette, TN). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 3-25 record. In their last outing, Macon County was tipped by White County (Sparta, TN), 78-51, in a league outing.
The Blue Devils now own a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Sequatchie County for a 2A District 5 outing on Friday, February 10. Jackson County will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 71-44 non-league win over Marion County (Jasper, TN). The Indians record now stands at 5-21.
