Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), 78-76 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbia Heights upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Hylanders travel to Fridley (Fridley, MN) to play the Tigers in a AAA Section 4 bout on Thursday, February 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Fridley lost 81-76 in their recent league bout against St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN)

Next up, the Eagles play the DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record.
