The Cornell Raiders basketball team (Coraopolis, PA), was overwhelmed 58-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Western Beaver Golden Beavers (Industry, PA)
The Golden Beavers now possess a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rochester for a WPIAL 1A 1 battle on Friday, February 10. Western Beaver will battle a Rams team coming off a 64-63 league win over Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Rams record now stands at 9-11.
The Raiders (1-19) will now prepare for their battle against Carlynton (Carnegie, PA). The Cougars come into the WPIAL 1A 1 battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Carlynton trounced Avella (Avella, PA), 72-25, in a league battle.
