Massachusetts High School Basketball - Danvers knocked off by Winthrop

The Winthrop Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Danvers Falcons to 52 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swampscott for a Northeastern - Small contest on Friday, February 10. Winthrop will meet a Big Blue team coming off a 70-58 non-league win over North Reading (North Reading, MA). The Big Blue record now stands at 7-8.
The Falcons (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Saugus (Saugus, MA). The Sachems enter the Northeastern - Small contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Saugus ran past Gloucester (Gloucester, MA), 65-58, in a league contest.
