The Dexter Demons basketball squad scored 43 points and restricted the visiting New Mexico Military Institute Colts to 40 in the Demons league victory on Tuesday.
With the victory, Dexter upgrades its record to 7-15 on the campaign. The Demons host Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to play the Rattlers in a 3A District 4 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Tucumcari lost 71-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Colts play the Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) in a 3A District 4 challenge, on Friday, February 10. New Mexico Military Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 50-45 league win over Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM).
