In Tuesday's league match, the visiting White Oak Vikings basketball team scored a good 68-48 triumph over the Dixon Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Vikings meet the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) in a 3A Conference 16 match, on Thursday, February 9. White Oak will attempt to better on its 18-4 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 17-3 record after their 63-53 league win over Croatan (Newport, NC).
With the defeat, Dixon moves to 6-17 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a 3A Conference 16 challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. West Carteret lost 67-62 in their recent league challenge against Richlands (Richlands, NC)
