Massachusetts High School Basketball - Mahar Regional thwarts Drury

The Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA) basketball knocked off the visiting Drury Blue Devils (North Adams, MA), 59-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Senators (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Quaboag Regional went down by Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA), 58-50, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Pioneer Valley Regional for a Hampshire - North test on Friday, February 10. Drury will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 55-53 league win over Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-2.
