The Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) basketball knocked off the host Early College Hornets (Dover, DE), 65-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Seahawks go into the Henlopen - Southern test with a 0-16 record. In their last test, Sussex Academy went down by Seaford (Seaford, DE), 109-29, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Woodbridge for a Henlopen - Southern test on Thursday, February 9. Early College will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 55-53 league win over Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Raiders record now stands at 9-9.
