West Virginia High School Basketball - Union ripped by East Hardy

February 7, 2023: Mount Storm, WV 26739

The East Hardy Cougars basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Union Tigers to 41 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paw Paw for a Potomac Valley A contest on Thursday, February 9. East Hardy will meet a Pirates team coming off a 75-24 non-league win over Timber Ridge (Cross Junction, VA). The Pirates record now stands at 12-6.

The Tigers (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Tucker County (Hambleton, WV). The Mountain Lions enter the Potomac Valley A contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Tucker County triumphed over Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV), 50-35, in a non-league contest.
