The East Longmeadow Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Westfield Bombers to 50 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pope Francis Prep for a Valley contest on Friday, February 10. East Longmeadow will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 61-44 non-league win over Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-3.

The Bombers (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Agawam (Agawam, MA). The Brownies enter the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Agawam was defeated by Taconic (Pittsfield, MA), 76-42, in a league contest.
