The Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN), 92-69 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Royals (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Trojans go into the AAAA Section 6 test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Wayzata walloped St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 76-46, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Eden Prairie will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 81-75 non-league win over Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Bison record now stands at 16-3.
