With the win, Thomas Jefferson Academy upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Jaguars host Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 8-13. Augusta Prep Day won 61-40 in their recent league bout against Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 4 bout, on Friday, February 10. Edmund Burke Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-17 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 61-40 league loss to Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA).
