The Elkton Golden Elks basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting North East Indians to 48 in the Golden Elks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Elks now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bel Air for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake contest on Friday, February 10. Elkton will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 72-55 non-league win over North Harford (Pylesville, MD). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-8.
The Indians (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bohemia Manor (Chesapeake City, MD). The Eagles enter the Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehana contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Bohemia Manor was routed by Fallston (Fallston, MD), 66-40, in a non-league contest.
