The Kaufman Lions basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Farmersville Farmers to 22 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 13-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community for a 4A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Kaufman will battle a Braves team coming off a 63-57 league win over Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX). The Braves record now stands at 7-19.

The Farmers (9-18) will now prepare for their contest against Wills Point (Wills Point, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A Region II District 14 contest with a 23-7 record.
