Woodland Park Panthers (Woodland Park, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Florence Huskies (Florence, CO), 58-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Woodland Park upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lamar (Lamar, CO) to play the Thunder in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout on Thursday, February 9. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Lamar won 70-62 in their recent league bout against James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Huskies play the La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout, on Thursday, February 9. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 64-46 league win over St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO).
