With the victory, Floydada upgrades its record to 29-5 on the campaign. The Whirlwinds host Hale Center (Hale Center, TX) to play the Owls in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 13-13. Hale Center won 57-52 in their recent league challenge against Lockney (Lockney, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Ralls Jackrabbits (Ralls, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Olton will attempt to upgrade on its 22-5 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the challenge with a 5-22 record after their 52-42 league win over Smyer (Smyer, TX).
