The Forbush Falcons basketball team (East Bend, NC), was overwhelmed 73-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Surry for a 2A Conference 37 battle on Friday, February 10. North Wilkes will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 55-49 league win over Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 22-1.

The Falcons (1-22) will now prepare for their outing against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles go into the 2A Conference 37 outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, Wilkes Central was trounced by West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC), 75-74, in a league outing.
