Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), 75-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Fort Hill upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Sentinels host Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to clash with the Campers in a Appalachian bout on Friday, February 10. The Campers go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Allegany won 74-25 in their recent non-league bout against Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD)

Next up, the Miners clash with the Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Mountain Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Catoctin (Thurmont, MD).
