Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Gateway topples Franklin Regional

In Tuesday's league outing, the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) basketball squad beat the host Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA), by a count of 62-43.
The Gators (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA). The Wildcats go into the WPIAL 5A 3 outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Greater Latrobe was topped by Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 64-62, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to McKeesport for a WPIAL 5A 3 outing on Friday, February 10. Franklin Regional will face a Tigers team coming off a 63-44 league loss to Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-10.
