The Goats now sport a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mexia for a 3A Region III District 20 contest on Friday, February 10. Groesbeck will meet a Black Cats team coming off a 97-64 league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, TX). The Black Cats record now stands at 26-6.

The Lions (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Panthers enter the 3A Region III District 20 contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Westwood nudged Fairfield (Fairfield, TX), 57-54, in a league contest.
