With the victory, Goddard upgrades its record to 11-12 on the campaign. The Rockets host Portales (Portales, NM) to play the Rams in a 4A District 4 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Portales lost 44-39 in their recent league challenge against Lovington (Lovington, NM)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a 4A District 4 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Lovington will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 44-38 league win over Goddard (Roswell, NM).
