California High School Basketball - Monte Vista can't hold off Granite Hills

February 7, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91977

The Granite Hills Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Monte Vista Monarchs to 69 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Helix for a Grossmont - Hills contest on Friday, February 10. Granite Hills will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 62-61 league win over Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 16-11.

The Monarchs (11-16) will now prepare for their contest against High Tech SD (San Diego, CA). The Storm come into the non-league contest with a 18-8 record. In their last contest, High Tech SD edged Clairemont (San Diego, CA), 57-35, in a league contest.
