Michigan High School Basketball - Tri County Area edged by Grant

The Tri County Area Vikings basketball team (Howard City, MI), was nudged 68-66 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Grant Tigers (Grant, MI)

The Tigers now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chippewa Hills for a Central State - Gold battle on Friday, February 10. Grant will confront a Warriors team coming off a 59-51 non-league win over Clare (Clare, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 7-7.

The Vikings (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Newaygo (Newaygo, MI). The Lions come into the Central State - Gold battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Newaygo edged Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI), 76-2, in a non-league battle.
