Virginia High School Basketball - Indian River knocked off by Great Bridge

The Great Bridge Wildcats basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Indian River Braves to 60 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Booker T. Washington for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Great Bridge will meet a Mighty Bookers team coming off a 65-37 league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Bookers record now stands at 11-8.
The Braves (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies enter the Southeastern contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Grassfield ran past Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 87-46, in a league contest.
