In Tuesday's league outing, the Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA), by a margin of 62-56.

The Hawkeyes (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Knights go into the Wyoming Valley 2 outing with a 3-16 record. In their last outing, Lake-Lehman got by MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), 57-50, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Wyoming Seminary College Prep for a Wyoming Valley 2 outing on Thursday, February 9. Wyoming Area will clash with a Blue Knights squad coming off a 54-44 league loss to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Blue Knights record now stands at 4-14.
