The Health Sciences Surgeons basketball team (San Diego, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA)
The Redhawks now possess a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ocean View Christian for a Sierra battle on Thursday, February 9. Mountain Empire will confront a Patriots team coming off a 53-50 league loss to High Tech NC (San Marcos, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-8.
The Surgeons (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA). The Tritons come into the non-league battle with a 4-14 record. In their last battle, Preuss UCSD was nudged by Southern California Yeshiva (San Diego, CA), 68-36, in a league battle.
