Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA), 59-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Heritage upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Patriots host Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to play the Lions in a Bay Valley bout on Thursday, February 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 19-5. Liberty won 76-37 in their recent league bout against Deer Valley (Antioch, CA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) in a Bay Valley bout, on Thursday, February 9. Pittsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-16 record after their 81-53 league loss to Freedom (Oakley, CA).
