Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA), 54-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Holy Redeemer upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Greater Nanticoke Area won 45-36 in their recent non-league bout against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA)

Next up, the Blue Knights play the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Wyoming Seminary College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 62-56 league loss to Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA).
