Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), 66-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Richardson upgrades its record to 22-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a 6A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 18-11.

Next up, the Tigers play the Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Irving will attempt to upgrade on its 9-20 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 5-22 record after their 74-42 league loss to Highland Park (Dallas, TX).
