Islesboro Central Eagles (Islesboro, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pine Tree Academy Breakers (Freeport, ME), 52-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Islesboro Central upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to North Haven (North Haven, ME) to play the Hawks in a Freelance bout on Thursday, February 9. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 0-9. North Haven lost 67-37 in their recent non-league bout against Temple Academy (Waterville, ME)

Next up, the Breakers play the Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME) in a D South bout, on Thursday, February 9. Pine Tree Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Bereans come into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 67-37 non-league win over North Haven (North Haven, ME).
