Jackson South Side Hawks (Jackson, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders (Jackson, TN), 56-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jackson South Side upgrades its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN) to play the Indians in a 3A District 12 bout on Friday, February 10. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 19-5. Jackson North Side won 58-57 in their recent league bout against South Gibson (Medina, TN)

The Crusaders (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against South Gibson (Medina, TN). The Hornets come into the 3A District 12 battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, South Gibson was toppled by Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN), 58-57, in a league battle.
