The Jeffers Jets basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes to 46 in the Jets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jets now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Republic-Michigamme for a Copper Mountain - Copper County contest on Friday, February 10. Jeffers will battle a Hawks team coming off a 52-20 league loss to Baraga (Baraga, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 3-9.

The Lakes (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chassell (Chassell, MI). The Panthers enter the Freelance contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Chassell was routed by Watersmeet (Watersmeet, MI), 65-60, in a non-league contest.
