Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA), 84-63 in a league bout.
With the victory, Mathews upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign.
Next up, the Royal Tigers play the Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA) in a Tidewater bout, on Wednesday, February 8. King & Queen Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 85-53 league win over West Point (West Point, VA).
