Kansas High School Basketball - Parsons nudges Labette County

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS) basketball squad nipped the visiting Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS), by a margin of 71-70.

The Vikings (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Pittsburg got by Independence (Independence, KS), 60-56, in a non-league outing.

The Grizzlies now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chanute for a Southeast Kansas outing on Friday, February 10. Labette County will clash with a Blue Comets squad coming off a 42-40 non-league win over Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS). The Blue Comets record now stands at 11-4.
