The Lakeville North Panthers basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Lakeville South Cougars to 60 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastview for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Lakeville North will meet a Lightning team coming off a 88-54 league win over Eagan (Eagan, MN). The Lightning record now stands at 13-4.
The Cougars (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish enter the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Rosemount was routed by Shakopee (Shakopee, MN), 64-46, in a non-league contest.
