South Carolina High School Basketball - York overwhelmed by Lancaster

The York Cougars basketball team (York, SC), was overwhelmed 87-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC)

The Bruins now possess a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian Land for a AAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, February 10. Lancaster will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-64 league loss to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 19-6.

The Cougars (1-22) will now prepare for their battle against South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Stallions come into the AAAA Region 3 battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, South Pointe was overwhelmed by Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC), 71-69, in a league battle.
