Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) and the host North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), saw Lexington's basketball squad hold off North Rowan by a tally of 77-73.
With the victory, Lexington improves its record to 9-14 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Thomasville (Thomasville, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Conference 33 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 19-4. Thomasville won 60-46 in their recent league challenge against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC)
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 33 challenge, on Friday, February 10. North Rowan will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 97-52 league win over Lexington (Lexington, NC).
