The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA), 75-70 in Tuesday's league test.
The Minutemen (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Winchester (Winchester, MA). The Red & Black go into the Middlesex test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Winchester got by Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA), 66-45, in a non-league test.
The Rockets now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Somerville for a non-league test on Thursday, February 9. Reading Memorial will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 57-39 league loss to Everett (Everett, MA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-11.
