The Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Ottumwa Bulldogs to 42 in the Railsplitters non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Railsplitters now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Freelance contest on Friday, February 10. Lincoln will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 52-51 league loss to Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The Roughriders record now stands at 10-7.
The Bulldogs (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Scarlets come into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Des Moines East prevailed over Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA), 45-41, in a league contest.
