New York High School Basketball - Lockport edges Niagara-Wheatfield

The Lockport Lions (Lockport, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons (Sanborn, NY), 64-61 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (11-7) will now prepare for their test against North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY). The Lumberjacks go into the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, North Tonawanda got by Kenmore West (Buffalo, NY), 48-47, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Niagara Falls for a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier test on Friday, February 10. Niagara-Wheatfield will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 73-56 league win over Lockport (Lockport, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 16-2.
