The Prairie City Panthers (Prairie City, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Long Creek Mountaineers (Long Creek, OR), 80-14 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Huntington (Huntington, OR). The Locomotives go into the 1A High Desert test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Huntington was trounced by Jordan Valley (Jordan Valley, OR), 59-50, in a league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Crane for a 1A High Desert test on Thursday, February 9. Long Creek will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 63-40 non-league win over Cove (Cove, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-2.
