Tonganoxie Chieftains (Tonganoxie, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Louisburg Wildcats (Louisburg, KS), 52-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tonganoxie upgrades its record to 3-14 on the season. The Chieftains host Metro Academy (Shawnee Mission, KS) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 19-12. Metro Academy lost 72-62 in their recent non-league bout against Kansas City East Christian Academy (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Spring Hill Broncos (Spring Hill, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Louisburg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 54-50 non-league win over Paola (Paola, KS).
